Corely Moore - Firehouse Vigilance
AM Track: Reflexive Readiness: Initial Operations
Designed to challenge the participants with how they prepare for emergency operations. Relevant Readiness focuses specifically on the first due operations of the initial arriving unit. Teaching best practices and habit enforcing techniques long before the tones drop.
Delving past tactics and getting into the nuts and bolts inside the psychology of preparation. It gives the tools for building a mindset of relevant preparedness that will set up any company for success.
PM Track: The 9 L's
The purpose of this class is to give leaders the tools they need to measure where they currently are at in their Leadership skill set. And the ability to evaluate where they want to be, and what they need to do to get there. The presentation is broken down into nine principles of leadership all of which start with the letter "L". Learn, Listen, Love, Look, Laugh, Level, Live, Labor, Last. The ultimate point of the class is to provide them with the single greatest tool that I can give to someone in a leadership role, and that is a lens by which you can judge every decision around the firehouse... before you make it.
